  6. The upgrade utilities are no longer included in the CATLIST.ZIP archive.
  7. They are available for download from The Parole Board BBS.

  10. You must unZIP SCREENS.ZIP over your old screens.  Several have changed
  11. since the initial release.  Make the necessary changes to your CFG
  12. files.  Check SAMPLE.CFG and the DOCs for the appropriate changes.

  14. Ugrading from v1.0 to v1.1
  15.  
  16.      Run FIXUP.EXE to add the appropriate defaults to the database.
  17. Delete your old LASTCHK.DAT before running  CatList v1.1
  18.  
  19. Upgrading from v1.1 to v2.0+
  20.  
  21.      Run NEWCAT.EXE to resize your CATLIST.DTA file.  Your new one
  22. should be exacly twice the size of the old one.  Delete your old
  23. LASTCHK.DAT before running CatList v2.0

  25. Upgrading from v1.0 to v2.0+
  26.  
  27.      Run FIXUP.EXE then run NEWCAT.EXE on the database.  Delete your old
  28. LASTCHK.DAT before running CatList v2.0

  31. Upgrading from 2.0+ to 3.0+
  32.  
  33.      Create a subdirectory named "\AFILES".  If you plan to utilize the
  34. ANSI ad uploads and downloads, you will need to create the DSZCFG.x
  35. file.  Details are in the CATLIST.MAN file.   You will need to run
  36. CATFIX.EXE on your old database before running CatList 3.0.  You should
  37. only run this utility once.  UnZIP the SCREENS.ZIP included in this
  38. archive over your old screens.  Several of the menu screens have
  39. changed.

  42. Upgrading from 3.0 to 3.1+
  43.  
  44.      Read the CATLIST.HIS file to make the necessary changes to the CFG
  45. file(s).  These changes must be made for CatList 3.1+ to operate.
